Topic Focus:
Mengenal daftar belanja dan cara menyusunnya dalam bahasa Inggris.

Definition:
A shopping list is a list of things you want to buy.

🧠 Practice:

👥 3. General Plural Form

Topic Focus:
Belajar bentuk jamak (plural nouns) dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Rules for Plural Forms:

Uncountable nouns (rice, sugar, water, etc.) don’t take plural forms.

🔢 4. The Use of “A Lot of”

Definition:
“A lot of” digunakan untuk menunjukkan jumlah yang banyak, baik untuk countable maupun uncountable nouns.

Countable noun

There are a lot of apples on the table.

Banyak apel di meja.

Uncountable noun

There is a lot of water in the bottle.

Banyak air di botol itu.

Synonyms:

·         a lot of = lots of = plenty of

Structure:

·         Affirmative: There are a lot of people here.

·         Negative: There aren’t a lot of chairs.

·         Question: Are there a lot of students?

A: Do you have a lot of homework today?
B: Yes, I have a lot of math and English exercises.

🧠 Practice Sentences:
Fill in the blanks with “a lot of”:

💬 Speaking Practice (Market Role Play)

Role A (Customer):

·         Greet the seller

·         Ask for prices

·         Ask for discount

·         Buy several items

Role B (Seller):

·         Offer prices

·         Negotiate politely

·         Thank the customer

🗣️ Example:

A: Good morning! How much are the tomatoes?
B: They’re two dollars a kilo.
A: I’ll take three kilos, please.
B: Sure! That’ll be six dollars.
